The Secretary’s choice this year was a fun Aussie Rules event with 15 members showing up to play.
Most of the players played 5 games, all with different partners, with the top 4 scores counting towards their final score. The highest individual scorers played in the Final, in which Freda and Caroline beat John Knight and Claire. Caroline being unbeaten throughout the event, definitely deserved to win her edible prize!
There was also a peg out competition played just before lunch. Jill Dawson hit in from 6 mallet lengths to become Peg out Champion of the Year.
One of the highlights of the day was the excellent lunch provided by Freda and team. The weather was superb for the time of year and overall all enjoyed the day and the competitions.
Well done to Freda, Caroline and Jill, and trust they enjoy their prizes.
