Gordon Goodchild 2021

This weekend saw our block stages for the Gordon Goodchild played. A golf tournament, for handicaps 3-8, the weather could have been better but fine play and effective management from Doug saw all rounds completed in good time. Contested by the same 2 players as last year, the standard this year was notably improved by both Roger Tedstone and Chris O’Byrne, with both having won all their other block games, but with Roger having won the head-to-head at that stage.… Read more →

Frances Payne Final 2019

After a 2 year hiatus, Jamie Burch returned to Reigate Priory’s competitive scene with an appearance in the Level Golf competition. As a -4, he was strong favourite against Doug Dykes (3), as they played out their best of 3 final in front of a decent crowd. In the first game, Jamie showed his intent by taking the first hoop… Read more →

Chris O’Byrne wins the Creed

Last year’s beaten finalist Chris O’Byrne managed to do one better in the Creed Memorial Cup this year, and take the trophy home*. With no semi-finals played in this Handicap Advanced Association competition, Chris and Simon Ling both won their respective blocks, to set up an interesting match in lieu of Simon receiving 11 bisques. Simon won the toss, and… Read more →
