Gymkhana – Club Day

By - 25th May 2015

Our annual Gymkhana is a fun event consisting of a series of ten exercises covering some of the skills needed in croquet (Association & Golf). Generally, within each exercise you will repeat a particular task several times, and with each success you will get points with the aim being to score as many points as possible over the ten exercises.

To level the playing field (or croquet lawn!) you’ll be split into streams by ability so that someone with a Golf handicap of 12 stands just as much chance of winning as someone on 1.

Up to two runs round the Gymkhana course will cost you only £1. Please come along and support this event. It will be good fun and a good way to practice your skills, or learn new ones! Some of the exercises will cover skills you would need in Golf Croquet whilst some will be more Association Croquet orientated, so there will be something for everyone.

Freda will be doing an optional lunch at 12.30 p.m. to round off the morning. Please sign up for LUNCH on the notice in the clubhouse or let Andy Gray or Freda know by e-mail by Thursday 28th May at the latest. There is no need to sign up for the event itself.
