It’s not always about winning…
Reigate made a good start on Saturday, with Michael, Freda, John B and Bob winning our first round of 2 singles and 1 double. Despite some good individual results, there was strong opposition and we were unable to maintain our win rate. Doug, Tricia, Lester and Freda played on Sunday and we ended 5th out of 6, with 14 wins against 24 gained by winners Surbiton 2.
The weather stayed fine, but very windy, and the lawns fast but not as true as usual, but the lunch was delicious as usual and we all enjoyed a great day’s croquet.
