The Rosamond Trophy is designed for higher handicaps, with entrants needing to be 16 or above to enter, however by the time the final had come about then Chris Parker had got his handicap down to a 12 through winning (a lot!) and an arbitrary cut.
After Lorna took the lead, getting to hoop 3, Chris managed an 8 hoop break to leave himself on 3 Back with both balls – as the format is 18 points then after running hoop 1 then the partner clip is placed on 3 Back.
Lorna had a series of agonisingly close shots, missing by mere fractions, but in the end Chris forged ahead to win +13.
