This level golf competition is held at Southwick. Having won the 2nd Division competition two years running, last year we were automatically promoted to the 1st Division. We do not have sufficient low handicap golf players to compete at this level, but managed to come 8th out of 10 last year. This year we put in a slightly stronger team – Doug, Sally, Lester and John K on Saturday, and Frank, Chris O’B, Michael B and John K on the Sunday, and once again we came 8th out of 10, so status quo.
Although some players find it rather daunting to play against very low handicap players, most of the team enjoyed the experience and gained from it.
